Crochet is sturdy, but a little care keeps the stitches tight and the colours bright.
Cleaning
Spot clean small marks with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. If the whole bag needs a wash, hand wash it in cold water and press the water out gently rather than wringing it.
Drying and storing
Dry it flat and reshape it while it is damp. Store it stuffed with tissue paper so it keeps its shape, and avoid hanging it by the strap for long periods.
